Brisbane Flickerfest Short Film Festival Tour 2022 – Event Information


NOTE: Due to flooding in South East Queensland and the northern rivers where we are based, we have had to make the difficult decision to reschedule to: 12 and Friday 13 May.
All ticket holders for past dates can use their current tickets, which will be automatically updated. If you cannot attend on the rescheduled dates, we are sorry and you can change nights or you can get your ticket refunded until April 12, 2022.

Celebrating its 31st year, Flickerfest, Australia’s only Academy® qualifying and BAFTA recognized short film festival, and the country’s largest Australian and international short film competition, showcases the best short films from Australia and around the world; ensure the presentation of programs of A-list short films recognized among the best in the world.

Flickerfest was screened for 10 days under the summer stars at Bondi Beach in January, with a selection of the most entertaining and innovative short films from around the world touring Australia on a nationwide tour of over 50 venues from February to October 2022.

These programs are the highlights of the Australian Academy® qualifying competition programs from Flickerfest to Bondi 2022.

Thursday 12 May, 7 p.m.: Best Of Australian Shorts (incl arrival drink)
Friday May 13, 7 p.m.: Best Of EU Showcase Shorts

Tickets: available online up to 1 hour before the screening;
then available at the door from 45 minutes before each screening “subject to availability”.
