The AUStringer team is led by CAE, the prime contractor, in partnership with Cobham.

Matthew Sibree, General Manager, CAE Australia Indo-Pacific, said, “We are honored to have Nova Systems on the AUStringer team, as they bring a wealth of experience delivering complex defense programs.

“We are well aware of their strong reputation, particularly at East Sale, thanks to their successful participation in the new RAAF pilot training programme.

“With Cobham and Nova Systems now part of the AUStringer team, we are demonstrating our commitment to developing a sovereign aviation mission training system that builds the capabilities of Australian industry.”

The RAAF AMTS will be used to train electronic warfare officers, maritime patrol and response officers, air combat managers, air traffic controllers and other mission specialists.

It will be installed at the Air Academy located at RAAF Base East Sale in Victoria.

The complete training solution will include ground and flight training, as well as an integrated digitally supported learning environment.
