Sky News Australia Alan Jones has attacked Meghan Markle and Prince Harry for their trip to New York. While speaking on his show, he said the couple were unbearable and shouldn’t preach to the public. Meghan and Harry have received both praise and criticism for their trip to New York and the work they have done there.

Mr Jones said: ‘Here we are again, every time Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have to speak they should give us a fair warning.

“That way we can put on the eye mask and put on the earplugs.

“These two are really unbearable.

Mr Jones attacked the couple for the trip and their ability to meet powerful individuals.

He said: “On what basis do these two non-active members of the royal family meet with politicians or world leaders?”

“They then went to an elementary school so Meghan could read her children’s book to second graders.

“I’m sure half of them were wondering what had they done wrong to deserve this.”

He then commented on the couple’s appearance at the Global Citizen Live Festival.

Royal commentator Molly Mulshine said it was good to see Harry and Meghan trying to ‘make a change’ and enjoy their post-royal status.

Speaking on the Royally Us podcast, host Molly Mulshine said, “They’ve been hitting that drum for quite some time and one thing I personally really enjoyed about that talk is that they specifically called out the pharmaceutical companies and that they specifically explained what the problems are behind people who do not have access to vaccines all over the world.

“I think this is something they wouldn’t have been able to do if they were still a member of the Royal Family, as it would be seen as political and controversial.

“So it’s good to see that they are enjoying their new life in a way that goes beyond media deals, it’s more like trying to make a difference and influence people to change the way we do things, so it was cool to see. “
