About the organization

The Royal Botanic Gardens and Domain Trust is responsible for Australia’s oldest scientific institute, three iconic botanic gardens and one of the country’s most important public parks. The Trust includes the Australian Institute of Botanical Science, the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney, the Australian Botanic Garden Mount Annan, the Blue Mountains Botanic Garden Mount Tomah and The Domain. Staff working for the Trust are employed by the Place, Design & Public Spaces section of the Department of Planning, Industry & Environment.

About the role

Our Marketing and Engagement team is looking to appoint a Brand Activation Officer to support branding and marketing activities that advance the fundamental goals of the Royal Botanic Gardens and The Domain Trust.

About you

You will have strong knowledge and experience working in the field of branding and marketing on traditional and digital channels, as well as experience using a range of IT applications.

To truly be successful in this role, you will excel in a complex and dynamic environment, covering increasingly sensitive issues to the public and operating with the ability to meet the needs and deadlines of each business while meeting the standards and goals of required quality.

You strive to maintain your skills and knowledge of contemporary trends, research, emerging technologies and best practices in communication systems, tools and methodologies, including online delivery systems.
