Today the Rudd Government announced that Australia Street Infants School will be receiving $879,000.00 for the purpose of the construction of a new 2 classroom building. 

This is exciting news as our proposed classroom building has been formally approved by the DET and we can now move to the construction phase of the project shortly.

Again this has been a huge undertaking with the announcement today being fantastic especially as the announced funding package is $30,000.00 more than originally anticipated!

From here there is still alot of work to do but we are heading in the right direction. Watch this space!
